Honey Jar Chat (iOS) Data Deletion Instructions

These instructions explain how to request deletion of your Honey Jar Chat (iOS) account and associated personal data. The controller is BEIJING FOURSEAGO TECH CO., LTD (北京四海生生科技有限公司) (“FOURSEAGO”).

Option 1: Delete Your Account in the App

Open Honey Jar Chat (iOS) and sign in.
Open Settings.
Select the account-deletion option and follow the confirmation steps.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

Email contact@4seago.com with the subject Honey Jar Data Deletion Request. Include the email address or username associated with your Honey Jar account and state that you want the account and associated personal data deleted.

Do not send your password, payment-card details, or unnecessary identity documents. We may ask for limited additional information reasonably necessary to verify that you control the account.

Data Covered

After verification, the request covers your Honey Jar account data and Facebook-derived data associated with that account, including the app-scoped user ID and information received through the public_profile and email permissions.

Deletion Timeline

We delete or de-identify covered data from active production systems within 30 days after verifying the request.
Residual backup copies are deleted or irreversibly overwritten within 90 days after active-system deletion.
We may retain a minimal record of the request for up to 3 years to demonstrate compliance and resolve disputes. This record does not include deleted profile content or unnecessary Facebook-derived data.

We may retain the minimum information required by law or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, accounting, compliance, or an active legal claim. Any retained information is isolated from ordinary product use and deleted or anonymized when the applicable need ends.

Confirmation and Status

We will acknowledge an email request and may send a final confirmation after active-system deletion is complete. To ask about status, reply to the same email thread or contact contact@4seago.com using the account information included in your original request.

Account deletion is irreversible. After deletion, you will not be able to recover the account, its content, or associated information.
